Compress It (also known as CompressIt) is a tool that is very useful when you see that you are running out of space on your hard drive. This is because it lets you compress the images in your PC to reduce their size, even if they are already compressed.
It is very interesting that, in Compress It, it compares how big the image is both before and after compression. Also, despite the compression the quality remains virtually the same.
Compress It works with any of the following formats: BMP, DIB, RLE, JPG, JPEG, JPE, GIF, CUR, ICO, EMF, WMF, PCX, PNG, TGA, TARGA, VDA, ICB, VST, PIX, PXM, PPM, PGM, PBM, TIF and TIFF, letting you save them, after being compressed, in JPG, GIF, PNG or TIF.
